Yoga Off the Mat
Yoga is an investment in your personal development and evolution.
The practice of yoga provides many physical and mental benefits, but it also provides us the practice of the giant metaphor that it is for how we approach our lives off the mat. Yoga in its entirety is a service to all of us who step onto the mat.
Yoga helps us to strip away the layers of tension that build up as part of our lives. With stress being one of the biggest causes of illness and affliction, it’s never been more important to find ways to allow your body to switch out of stress mode to bring balance to the chemical responses in the body and allow the body and mind to heal.
Off the mat, how do we practice our patience, our responses versus reactions, our self-imposed limitations based on fears, or our feeling of fulfilment that come along with living courageously in all ways that matter to us individually? The practice of yoga off the mat allows us to take those practices and lessons learnt during our practice and put it into real-world, tangible context in our lives.

Wellness and Yoga Integration
When we feel poor physically, our mental health struggles to bear the weight of the responsibility of making us feel good. Likewise, when our mental health is strained, it shows up physically.
In taking care of and taking time out for something for ourselves,
we notice an immediate decrease in stress and increase in personal fulfilment.
In enabling your team to come together in a safe, gentle and nurturing environment,
you are further enabling that ease and mindfulness to extend into office hours
and the tasks at hand. Allowing stress management practices that also incorporate
safe and non-forceful spaces for teams to enjoy together is important
for productivity and team work in the workplace, on the field or wherever else it matters.

Testimonials
I had Jess do a yoga session for my hens party and loved it! All agreed it was so relaxing and easy to understand. Jess is a great teacher, and I cannot wait till the morning of my wedding to have another session!
I have been a yoga participant for many years but found that Jess’ guidance improved how I was moving and holding positions. The outcome of my efforts became far more productive and effective as a result. I also found the back and leg pain that I had for some time has gone after one simple practice that Jess recommended and demonstrated. It’s clear that having the right teacher makes a big difference.
I attended my private yoga session with the lovely and very talented Jess and I can honestly say that I was blown away by her attention to detail and incredible understanding of my body in relation to poses. Jess made me feel completely at ease throughout my session and left me wishing it had actually gone on for longer! She effortlessly interpreted what I had flagged as focus areas and spent my session addressing these and so much more! Jess then provided me with helpful cues and tips for my regular yoga practice and I couldn’t be more grateful to her for those. I can’t wait to book again – thank you so much Jess – it was totally amazing!!
Jess is a truly wonderful teacher. In every class she creates a positive space for practice, and is able to focus not only on what yoga can do for the body but what it can do for the mind.
I train regularly with a personal trainer who (after I had a few sessions with Jess) noticed a strong difference in not only my coordination, flexibility and balance, but in my approach to exercise. Specifically that I was much more open and positive about approaching new tasks and was more likely to feel confident in my own abilities.
I always feel completely refreshed and restored after a class with Jess, and can also notice the positive changes in my body and my brain. Jess’ classes are enjoyable, creative and challenging without being at all taxing. She is a very patient, kind and compassionate instructor who believes in and embodies what she teaches. Jess is a gem!!
